About our 2015 event

About the Event

EDOS is pleased to invite you to our annual event, which is our major fundraiser for the year.

This year's honorees are EDOS Past Presidents. These individuals have kept the shul going for the past 53 years.

Our key word is אבן, with the gematria of 53, from the Hallel, which proclaims, אבן מאסו הבונים היתה לראש פינה the stone that was left by the builders became the cornerstone. Our Presidents, over these 53 years have been our cornerstones, and provided the impetus for EDOS to continue down the path of building Torah, Tefillah, and Tzedakah in the Denver community.

We will also bestow the Hakarat Hatov award to Lottie Soble, acknowledging our gratitude to her years of service in the Shul front office.

Our special guest speaker for the event is Rabbi Ari Sytner, who joined us for a Shabbat of leadership last June. Rabbi Sytner will also be our scholar-in-residence on Shabbat Chanukah.

Musical entertainment by the Oy Vey Trio (Mikey Smith, piano; Bryan Goldstein, bass; Andreas Schmid, percussion) enhancing the event with Chanukah music, Jewish music and jazz!

You can download an Ad Journal form by clicking here. You can also make your reservation immediately by going to our Donate page.

Dinner Chairs are Shlomo and Raacheli Fried.

We'll look forward to seeing you there!

About our Office Manager

We also, through this event, express our gratitude to Lottie Soble with the Hakarat Hatov award. Lottie has tirelessly devoted herself to keeping our doors open, lights and water on, ensuring a clean shul, notifying members of upcoming Yahrzeits and events, and so much more.
